Seriously. Yes, it really does depend on a variety of factors. Our quotes will depend on the subject, article length, available research materials and any additional special requests (such as including images, posting to wordpress complete with excerpts, SEO tags, etc.). The majority of the work we take on is priced based on article complexity and research effort, but we will occasionally take on projects that are priced based on word count. Some of us are flexible, others aren’t. So it’s sorta luck-of-the-draw as it’ll depend on who’s available.
